²⁹ For behold, the days will come when men will say, Happy are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the paps that never gave suck. ³⁰ Then will they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! and to the hills, Cover us! ³¹ For if they do this to a green tree, what shall be done to the dry?
